In February, shake off the wintertime blues with a dose of Vernon's annual Winter Carnival. Watch the night sky light up in a spectacular hot air balloon display, or admire the intricate snow and ice sculptures on display in front of the library as you participate in a full range of winter festivities.

Vernon is located 46 km (29 mi.) north of Kelowna at the junction of Highways 97, 97A, and 6, making it easily accessible from all directions. While the municipal airport offers charter, fixed-wing, and helicopter services, visitors flying in on national and international airlines should fly into Kelowna. Bus service is also available.
