Hamilton, also known as Steel Town, is an attractive city with year-round attractions. The city is conveniently located just south of the Greater Toronto Area off the Queen Elizabeth Way highway, which leads travellers to Niagara Falls. Hamilton has several exciting museums, including the Hamilton Children's Museum, which offers great theatrical performances for children of all ages. Those who prefer the outdoors will enjoy walking, biking and roller-blading along the shoreline of Lake Ontario. Venturing slightly outside the city limits will lead visitors to a number of wilderness conservation areas, many of which boast picturesque waterfalls.
