This northern European country is a place where a crowd of discerning travelers invades the city every season. The country passes through four seasons and offers unparalleled environment to the tourists for enjoying their vacation. You have multiple options to choose from the cities according to the season during which you want to be in Finland. For instance, Helsinki in summer and Lapland in winter are favorite choices of the travelers.

Winter is a favorable time to visit this wonderland—many factors are attributable to it; skiing is one of them. You can have a good time to relax mentally and bodily at a hidden summer cottage where a sauna exists near the lake. Visiting Santa Claus or taking a tour of Reindeer Park is also a nice experience. Summer also offer great opportunities of ding activities like trekking. Year round happenings allure a good number of visitors to make a crowd.

Besides the vast forests, lakes, agricultural and urban areas, Finland enjoys the incorporation of many small and beautiful islands which offers you splendid opportunities for sailing and fishing. In comparison to other Scandinavian countries, Finland has high standard of living. The inhabitants enjoy a good collection of amenities throughout the country. Especially telecommunication facilities are superb.

You do not need to worry about communicating with the locals of Finland as they are well versed in several foreign languages like English, Swedish German and French. Finish language is different from other Indo-European languages. Finland is the seventh largest country in Europe and it has an area of 338,000square kilometers. Finland tourism has seen vast growth in recent years.
