Peter Vermeeren
Valencia is not only beautiful during the daytime; it is vibrant at
night under the Mediterranean sky. Apart form the many Fiestas that
are held in Valencia every year, there is an abundance of nighttime
activities for both locals and tourists.
Whether you love performance, dining, or dancing, Valencia offers
many choices of entertainment both in the city and smaller towns.
Famous for it’s nightlife, Valencia has many bars and nightclubs,
many open until dawn.
Valencia also has many delightful restaurants and dinning is very
much a part of Valencian culture. Valencians are very friendly and
the weather is usually warm, which makes Valencia’s nightlife very
appealing.
It is difficult to mention all of Valencia’s café’s, bars,
restaurants and other nighttime venues, as there are so many
wonderful places to experience when in Valencia, however here a just
a few ideas.
Café Sant Jaume
Caballeros, 51
Valencia, 46001
Café Sant Jaume is situated in the Plaza Sant Jaume, which is in the
Old Quarter of the City of Valencia. The atmosphere of the Old
Quarter is diverse and full of charm. Café Sant Jaume is just one of
the lovely Cafes that offer you a place to relax and soak in the
Valencian culture.
DeCada Loca
Serrano Morales, 7,
Valencia, 46005
DeCada Loca offers guests the opportunity to try their singing
talents. It is an exciting and vibrant nightspot and is located in
the Cánovas area of the City of Valencia. DeCada Loca will give you
a taste of what a Valencian Tosca is truly like, with lots of
laughter and fun.
The Beaches of Las
Arenas and La Malvarrosa
At night the areas surround the beaches of Las Arenas and La
Malvarrosa come alive. A combination of Valencia’s lovely
Mediterranean weather and beautiful beaches sets the scene for a
myriad of memorable experiences. Visiting either of these areas at
night is a must, while in Valencia.
Palau de les Arts
While in Valencia, you should take the opportunity to savor some of
Valencia’s Arts culture. Palau de les Arts is one of Valencia’s
finest modern Arts venues and features nighttime performances in
their Amphitheatre, Chamber Music Hall and Experimental Theatre.
Although there are many wonderful things to see and experience in
Valencia throughout the week, Friday and Saturday nights tend to be
the most popular nights for going out. Weather you enjoy social
dancing, walking along the beach front, or watching a unique
performance at one of the many arts venues, you are bound to be
transformed by the nightlife found in Valencia.
